Free Your Mind

Too weak, too old, too heavy, too inexperienced, too stiff, too scared ... are some of the first thoughts that enter our mind whenever we see a challenging yoga pose.  We immediately think of why we cannot do it and we believe it.  Hence, we don't even bother to make an attempt.  But what if we put all those thoughts aside for a moment and just go for it?  What's the worst that can happen?  You may fall, you may stumble but what if you don't?  You will never know unless you try. And you will never get there unless you train your mind to believe that eventually, you will.  Believe it's possible and if you wholeheartedly do, then your brain will imprint these beliefs into your neural pathways.  Basically, you will literally begin to change the way you think - about yourself, about your life.

For the next hour, I encourage you to free your mind of all negative thoughts about why you can't do it.  Instead, believe that you will because doing so makes the impossible, possible.  Your mind will always believe everything you will tell it.  Feed it faith, feed it truth.  Feed it with love.  Change your thoughts and you'll change your world.
