FINDING YOUR BALANCE

Where in your life do you feel you need more balance?  Are you Working too hard and not enjoying your life outside of it?  Are you being too conscious of what you eat that you forget that wonderful sensation of something sweet and delectable?  Do you spend more time with your friends than you family?  Do you find yourself often taking care of others that you forget to take care of yourself?

The autumn equinox is a point of union and balance, between light and dark, fire and water, yin and yang.   Sometimes we get disconnected from one side that in reality, we need both to feel whole.  The autumn equinox reminds me to balance all parts of myself.  The outer journey and the inner journey, the seen and the unseen, the logical and intuitive, conscious and unconscious.  From this place of unity new doors open and new possibilities are revealed.

For the next hour, as we go through the poses I invite you see where you feel you need more balance.  Try not to disconnect from one side because the other side feels better.  So that maybe in time, you will feel more balanced.  I also invite you to take this mindset of finding balance in your daily life and see where this leads you ...
